Merry Christmas 2009!

Christmas was good. The last one of the decade. We had all our kids over on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and that made me happy. I didn't take very many pictures, especially on Christmas day and that did not make me happy!

Christmas Eve we played a white elephant game, Casey talked about Christ's birth and his mission on earth and then we did our traditional singing of Christmas carols. Everyone groans a little but they usually all get into it. Only for so long though, and then they're ready to move on and open a present or two.

Christmas Day was a little different this year. Casey and Mackenzie were the only kids home in the morning and we waited until about noon for Kyle and Hailee to get here. I worked on dinner while waiting, which actually worked out good because we were able to open presents while everything was cooking.

Once Kyle, Hailee and Oliver got here we dug in and opened presents! That's always fun - especially when there's a baby in the house!

After everything settled down, Ashley, Logan and Baylor got here and we got to watch them open their presents. That was just as fun!  :)

Jonathan, Whitney and Ivy came over (no pictures of them, darn it) and we had a yummy Christmas dinner. It was a fun, tiring day (or should I say 2 days!) but it was so worth it!
